Report a translation problem
Say if you die tomorrow you can't leave it as an inheritance for example if you paid for it on Steam. As you DO NOT OWN anything you pay for on Steam. You only become a licensee of whatever you pay Valve for on Steam. While the other version you'll physically own as your own and as such shall do as you wish with it (not withstanding any ToS that may or maynot appear on an installion screen).
Also if you try to run another persons account you are not the owner of (as noted with the exmplae I illustrated above) Valve will terminate the account and the licenses linked to it. If you needed to contact customer support on siad account it'll also be terminated. Always be aware of what you are paying for as a consumer.
