fm18 wont start

when i run the game it goes to the start screen with the music and stops. saying Fm manager 18.1 of 1040047 (staging) has stopped. any ideas . thanks

i was about to download fm18 via steam.do you suggest not to because it crashes?

its not steams thats the problem

never had this problem with the other fm's well pissed off

if you have any antivirus other then Microsoft Essentials , game will crash.

simply said, there is a conflict between antivirus programs and fm18 at the moment.

until then, either add game .exe to antivirus , or uninstall antivirus to avoid further game crashes, because there is no other way atm

deleted the antivirus and still nothing anyone got any other ideas

The game shows me the FM2018 picture and that's it , won't start up further ??? Beta worked fine !
