I Can't start up The game??

I just recently got This game and it wont open, I don't know if any of you had this problem but I've uninstalled steam, i've cleared the caste, ran as adminstraighter and nothings working. basically when i try to start up the game it will put the little icon at the bottom of my screen and it will play the menu music (I'm assuming that's what it is at least) but when i hover over it or try to pull it up nothing happens, just constant music. apparently acording to steams I've played this game for 17 minutes but I'm preeetttyyy sure I haven't even seen the menu :(

The game's kind of broken on some PCs for some unknown reason. If I remember correctly some people managed to fix their game while others weren't as successful, I recommend browsing some of the old discussions around here and maybe looking around on Reddit, though I'm not sure how much discussion about the game not working happened there.

If nothing helps, it may be best to request a refund while you haven't owned the game for longer than 2 weeks yet and watch some YouTuber play it. There aren't any impactful choices in Act 1, so you won't miss out on anything except for flavor text.
