Is Act 2 a separate game?

When you pay $8 for this game, is that for all of the acts, or does each one cost $8? Would like to know before I get sucked into paying $32 on a computer game...

Proof? I'm pretty sure it's going to be all acts for $8, not $8 for each one.

It's probably going to be separate, I assume, but I don't have any confirmation on that.

I think every act will cost the same, but i don't think it is to much for such a game like this, there is so much great artwork and music it just is a great work they made. i actually thought it is pretty unexpensive, i tought becouse of the money problem they would have rised the price, so 32 for an entire game that consist of so much work it is pretty neat.

I imagine once Act 2 is ready for release, the store page will just turn into "Hiveswap" and it'll have two purchase options to buy Act 1, and another to buy Act 2.
and likely a third to buy All acts that have been released so far.

Atleast that's probly how I'd do if it was at al possible, which I believe it is.

I mean, it is possible that they'll be add-ons or something I guess. Might explain the >boros achievement.

Sorry for bumping an old thread in advance.

I think its doing to be either
1). They release it as a seperate DLC where when you launch the game, it'll ask which act you want to play, alike Xcom enemy Unknown when you get Enemy Within, or
2). They make it so you'll instantly get act 2 if they're putting it all into one game.
I'm sure they'll make it so that it's part of the same game due to one of the achevements being "Picked up where you left off" that 0.0% of players have.
But it could be entirely different I have no idea.

It's fine, the thread subject is still a topic that probly won't go away anytime soon and it's not going to stop being relevant until the devs come out and discuss how they're going to deal with releasing Act 2 on Steam... or Act 2 comes out and it becomes extremely obvious how they handled it.

I love the game, but because it's so short, I really REALLY hope that "Act 2" is treated more like DLC than like a whole other game. But that's just me.

If I were paying AAA prices for a game this short, I'd be furious. But it's only $8, for Hussie's charming art style and offbeat humor. (Plus, I was a kid in 1994. Seeing all those toys from my childhood is effing surreal, man. Puppy Surprise, Teddy Ruxpin, Snorks, Popples, all the Clarissa references...)
