Does the game have a launcher other then steam one?

.. curious I keep waiting an wanting to get into this.. but its currently showing 1-3 people on max.. an clearly the forums here are dead.. anyone play ? or keep at pass till its finished or dies naturally?

We are busy with a major update which will be released tomorrow at 3pm mountain time, server is currently down. Most are waiting for this content update as they have played all the current content through racking up 1000 plus hours.
