No multiplayer, no couch co-op...
But would it be possible to play in LAN still?

Anyone who can answer, much appreciated.

No, there isn't a LAN or local co-op mode. Wizards of the Coast wouldn't do something like let you play off their servers.

No co-op at all. Even though they promised us local co-op down the line.

I read at the time that the dungeons of the expansion were created by the host and the server issue was not necessary. Once the servers are closed, I understand that at least the dungeons of the expansion will be playable, but I could be wrong.
