Standing movement fixed?
Did they fix the issue of your character moving (sliding in a direction you stopped moving from?) cause it was quite annoying for me to play when that kept happening.

Release notes suggest so if you read through them. You'll have to try it out yourself, because that only happened to some users, others never experienced this problem at all (like me). Maybe add your conclusions here after testing, others with the problem will appreciate.

Yeah, I tried the game after every update and the issue never got fixed for me. I read thru all the patch notes for this one but didn't see anything adjusting that kinda fix. So I was wanting to hear from some of the people playing to make sure. I wanna get the game again (played thru gamepass but I stopped my monthly on it) so I wanted to know before I dish out anymore money. Thanks tho

Ah I see, you'd have to pay a monthly just to try...
fwiw, here's what I saw in the release notes under General Bug Fixes. (just search for "sliding" to get to it quick).

• Fixed the player character sliding indefinitely when stationary after moving

I'm curious, wondering if you can tell: on GamePass I'm guessing the game has now gotten "upgraded" from Standard to Deluxe and would now include the full DLC3 with the Mage etc at no extra cost?

I was able to get gamepass for $1, so I tried the game out. The sliding issue was fixed thankfully but the game still feels wonky or very stiff for what I would really like from it. The gamepass only has the Standard version to play, you will have to buy the DLC or Deluxe edition by itself.

Yeah the combat is different. It isn't quite freewheeling, it's very combo-based, so to enjoy it you have to spend a bit of time levelling up a character and learning the combos you bought. The first few character levels don't have much to work with so it feels a little bare. Oh and use dodge a lot if playing solo, to keep moving away from getting swarmed or cornered.

Everyone's got their own taste of what they want to play and it's all chill, but if you're still curious I wrote a quick Steam (in the Guides section) on all this when the game came out.

If you like the aesthetics and concept of the game, it's a good way to get started the right way to see if you'll enjoy it.

literally just installed the game to give it a second chance. first thing i noticed was character moving when no input was given. and im on mouse/keyboard so only movement is WASD. so "joycon drift" couldn't he a counter argument as no controlled is plugged in.
