Yep, as all trainers, windows brand do the same. Fake detection. But anyway, check the author releases there, it's a lot and he with good rep, and actually answered about it a lot already. So ye, anyway it's your decision to use or not.

Indeed. Rose also is a steam user and pretty commonly posts and talks about ultrawide fixes here.
