Never once felt sad about a pre-order. If you know you want the game, if you know your going to like it, if the bonus's are something you must have. Pre-order.

Ive been playing games from the days where copies could sell out in stores so you had to pre-order if you wanted it on release. Less relevant with digital releases now but I still recommend pre-orders if you know you want it.

Do your research before you buy.

I know what im paying for, I researched watched videos on the games. Its your average hack and slasher with Companions of the Hall skins. This is what I want.

but thats the funny part about pre order

you dont know what are you gonna get, and propably you already paid before you knew it and those "gameplays" commonly are not real gameplay

I really wanted to pre order fallout 76 i always have love fallout games but then i decided to see the game before preordering

50$ saved from buying a ♥♥♥♥ game

The question isn't about "Should you pre-order?" it's about "Is this developer/publisher deserving of your trust?"
I would say that in this case the answer is "No." I don't know anything about the devs, and modern WotC are not trust worthy.

But I still deal with people who insist Bethseda is deserving of trust...so I don't expect this outlook to be widely adopted any time soon.

Oh boy. People like you just feed the bad habbits of the gaming industry. YOU WILL NEVER see how the game will run before the realase. You can only watch the stuff that that company will allow you to watch which will never let you see how game realy runs and looks at the end. You my sir in all respects gave the worst advice there is.
