I can see it now.
Drizzt only, Final Destination, no items.
targeted mission loot grind is the name of that game
Only thing I can think of is keybinding individual skills for keyboard and mouse. Maybe it will be in the game but I have a feeling it won't be.
It's understandable. I just think it would be nice if you could unlock some additional modes as you progress.
If the endgame will be just completing the same areas on the highest difficulties, it can get really repetitive. Most people will do a few playthroughs and will be done with it. I don't think there will be a lot of people who will repeat all the areas just to complete them on all difficulties.
Go play pure PvP games for a proper skill comparison. Leave this and other PvE games alone for good PvE content, not ♥♥♥♥♥ PvE AND ♥♥♥♥♥ PvP as it happenes in 99/100 situations where devs mix both and make both suffer, instead of making one of it perfect. Every. Single. Time. In 15 years of gaming i remember. In all genres. Even giants of game industry make it suck. And this studio doesn't have thousands of people.
Horde mod.
Pilgrimage mod.
Endless pilgrimage mod.
Tower defense mod.
Limited revives mod.
4 different ways that meet in the end for a boss mod.
Random traits mod.
Shrines mod.
Random bosses, random mobs mod.
Literally anything else you imagine pve mod.
I see your point but dissagree, Diablo II gameplay was repetative but held a player base, including me, for ten years.
Loved Diablo ii but never understood why people played it for so long, I think the loot was far more in-depth than this game, was that your attraction?
Diablo 3 has constant updates but no where near as good as the second one, imo.
I completed Diablo 2 on all 3 difficulties. Once.
This game has 6 difficulties. I don't know what about you man but I would not play Diablo 2 six times. I will probably won't play the remastered version just because I feel like the game was explored enough.
Of course, this game is shorter but it's not as in-depth as Diablo 2.
Also, I played Dark Alliance demo and tried the first 3 difficulties in the same area. It seems there is not much difference except the enemies had more health and damage. I hope the highest difficulties will add some more variety, not just making the same enemies more damage spongy.
Endless / Horde Mode = YES. Certainly would be a blast to have.
