Game abandoned?
Hello!
I do not see a single answer from developers to questions of interest to people. Here I have one - how to ask it?

No the game is not abandoned. It's not even out yet and just went up for Pre Order Triple A Developers DO NOT come to the Steam forums so there's no point in asking questions here that only they can answer. If you want an answer then go to Reddit or their own Company forum if they have one. They have very little control here so they don't bother. They stick to Reddit or their own Forums.

It's not a triple A game.

Point still stands. The only developers who frequent steam forums are those brand new non known indie developers.

This is like when people complain about not understanding a product or it having defects in the review section instead of using actual customer service that they pretty much paid for.

In fact, this state of affairs is a deep disrespect for customers. What does it cost one (not ten) employees, for example, 10 minutes a day to answer customer questions? It's just zero. Normal respect. But they don't. And, by the way, the 40 dollars that they want to receive for the game is about 25% of the minimum wage per month in our country. I think that in any country in the world 40 dollars is still money. And so, they do not want to give a single answer to the people who will give them money. Impudence and nothing else.

They will probably have people moderating the social channels closer to when the game is actually released.

Try and go on their official discord for D&D related stuff. They have a section dedicated for the game.

https://discord.com/invite/dnd

They are answering questions in the "da-game-discussion" channel.

Well I have a job too. And, by the way, it is quite important for society and the world as a whole. But do I find time to communicate? Moreover, it is surprising that the developers or publishers of the game cannot do this, this is their business, and Steam is the largest point of sale. It is logical that they do it. But they don't.

Pretty sure you don't have to buy it. I am even more sure no one cares if you do or don't.

By doing as they do, they are doing worse only to themselves, and not at all to me. This is their business, not mine. Don't want to answer questions? Show no respect? Don't want me to buy at the start? Okay, I'll play their game, paying 80% less.

A lot of indy devs don't even personally answer discussion posts on the Seam hubs. A few do, but most don't.

Though I have to laugh at what people have now seemingly started to think: "If it ain't a live service title, it's an abandon game. Even if it hasn't released yet."

And here all I came to this hub for was to talk about the 'Jade octahedron'.

Then go to their forums. Why in the hell would they frequent forums where they have almost no control over. Go to Reddit or go to the company forums if you want answers. You talk about them taking ten minutes out of their day to answer then how about you take 10 minutes out of your day and go to where they are. You are one person. They do not care about you and your whining on Steam. Not when there's thousands coming to them where they frequent.
