How do you farm for better Legendary Loot?

Hi guys, just wondering how to farm for Better Legendary Loot?

I believe some players were saying there should be a way to get Guaranteed Level 5 loot, I do not mind if something like this was implemented.

Ever hopeful that the second free dlc which is supose to add a new challenge rating does this.

As for farming... before patch i use to do the first mission all the way through to the teleport pad. Once defeating the floating cult dudes and skipping all the rests to that point i would back track to get the chests then finish the mission. I believe there are 5 rest spots to skip, (not sure if 3 is it cap as it counts the 5 on teh choice screen) 7 chests and a 2 drop from the bosses. Plus you always get an epic off the named characters that tend to be in teh secondary mission objectives.

After patch ive not tried but it use to be around 1 legendary every 2 - 3 runs at CR4 solo.

Rank 5 gears is really not that much of an upgrade rank 4 is perfectly fine the looks are the exact same as well so your nt missing out on much. If you can solo 5 and 4 fine just stay there until you get yourself a set that you like

You can get Legendary on any difficulty.....
The Big Question is Better Legendary???
When you select Your difficulties [Ascended CR6] - Item RANK Apon Treasure is 4-5.... wish [Vanquisher CR7 (6) ] - wish it had Rank 5-6 lol but the Legendary Stat Gear is amazing
Rank 5 gear is best Armor/Stat Rng/Set Random.

Doing Ascended is the safest difficulty for Rank 5 and legendary equipment, unless ya wanna do Vanquisher, if your really gutzy. or have a full group with Rank 5 legendary gear+Full Set.

Alot of people farm Goblin Shard or other maps with High Equipment Loot chests. your milage can very depending on your character and what it excells in what map.

Honestly there is no gareentees, for Rank 5, im still hunting a Rank 5 legendary Necklance and i got a rank 2 necklance problem lol oh well. Soloing can be a problem....

When you reach 20, Work your way up. doing boss runs helps. suggest a full group or ask some friends, im game for the boss grind. (Current Main: Catti-Bre, Following Wulfgar, Burenor, than drizzit)
