Next comes the Planetarian movie. This one is tough. It recycles a lot from the 5 episode anime series. You watch the movie for a bit, then you can fast forward. You'll see some new footage, so watch that, then you get more recycled footage from the series. Fast forward that. Then the ending is new stuff. In all, you get maybe 30 minutes of new footage. Your best bet is to play the VN, then watch the whole movie. But if you watch the anime series, fast forward through this movie.
The final and essential video to watch is Snow Globe. It's short, about 30 minutes. Watch this. It completes the story.
You can play the game, watch the movie, then Snow Globe.
You can play the game, then watch Snow Globe.
You can watch the anime series, then the movie, then Snow Globe.
You can watch the anime series, then Snow Globe.
If you're hardcore, you can play the game, watch the anime TV series, then the movie, then Snow Globe.
In the end, at least play the game or watch the series, then watch Snow Globe regardless. The extra scenes in the movie don't amount to much. It's new footage but you don't need to really see it.
At least, read either version of the VN (depending if you prefer the older or newer art, I like both), then watch Movie and Snow Globe.
