We worked very hard testing the "War Heroes: Invasion", but nevertheless there are a few bugs that we will fix soon.
I hope it does not upset you too much. Thank you for your feedback :)
It does and has. I already rage uninstalled it. This "recent" idea that towers can be damaged/destroyed/disabled in TD games is simply absurd. I hate it and the wicked developers who think it's a good mechanic. The levels are not manually optimized - this I guarantee. Yes, I override you as game maker if you say otherwise. The levels are not specifically and carefully designed to send out "manageable" enemies. It's one of those "it's hard because of bad design" games. I thought it would be a keeper, but was, once again, hoodwinked. There has not been a decent, traditional, TD game on Steam for years - years. (Don't worry, I don't do refunds.) As for the achievement issue, I'm already burned. That you can not fix/take back. I'm marked as a cheater in a way.
Yes, we (you and I, TD kings - yes, kings) know all this. This game is like a mobile designed one. Even though it's not, as sold on Steam, it has all the nasty vile ingredients of one. Things that are designed to frustrate and deliberately create an unfun experience, so that suckers and idiots would pay real money to get past such deliberate obstacles. I wanted to like it, but it 's just got too many bad design choices, deliberate ones. No dice. Could it be saved? Yeah, if the devs were to literally "redo" about half of it.
I agree with everything you have written in this thread. I hate TD games where the towers are damaged.
Have a look at Technotron Defense. It's a traditional TD and it also has the virtue of being really cheap.
