"Collect all X" type achievement question

So, it's a lot of "collect all X" type achievement here. Should i collect all bacon soup (for example) in one save file for it or i still can get it if i load and collect it in missing chapters?
Like, i actually have only "No need for a Spoon" missing, if i'll replay just chapter 5 and have this one is it also unlock "Master of Bacon" for me too or nah?

You have to do it at once. If you quit the game and come back later and complete it, you won't get the achievement. At least that's what I remember, because I had tried it a couple of times in Chapter 3.

Okay then.. if i beat chapter 1, and unlock "A Taste of Home", and then starts game from chapter 5 (skipping all the others) and get then "No need for a Spoon", game doesn't count this enough for giving me "Master of Bacon", am i get it right?

I can't give a definitive answer. But what I *can* tell you, is that all the bacon soup cans in the level you're in respawn if you reload your save, which is probably why the game no longer counts them as collected. For example, in Chapter 3, if you save and reload after you collected the bacon soup cans in the staircase, they will respawn. That's why it's best to not reload your save if you're going for these achievements.

As for the "Master of Bacon" achievement, the game doesn't save your progress if you play through Chapter Select, so I assume the bacon soup cans won't be counted toward the achievement either. Unless it's the other achievements that count toward it, and not the bacon soup cans themselves. Your best bet is to replay the entire game rather than just the specific chapters.

if you have of the other achievements for 2,3 and 4, you can run through chapter 1, and then go through chapter 5 and you should get the "master of bacon" achievement. i just recently got this one, as im trying to perfect batim, and i already had the two bacon soup achievements for chapter 1 and 2. But dont reload in the middle of the chapter, that resets all of the bacon soup.

i tried doing this in specific chapters (due to accidentally reloading in the middle of a chapter) and i was able to get the "master of bacon" achievement. i think you just need to collect all of them in the chapter regardless.
