Mouse lag HELP

I'm trying to play this game on Windows 11 and for some reason have mouse lag. Game was working a while ago and I'm not sure how to fix it. Not a specs problem (rx 6950 xt and 12900k).

I started playing today, and the mouse just feels weird and awful. I guess it could be mouse lag - but it's almost unplayable. Windows 11 on laptop (with graphics settings turned down)

Yeah it's mouse smoothing...I think it might be due to forced Vsync. Even when I turn it off my game is still locked to 60fps. Heap of ♥♥♥♥ coding if you ask me.

same thing happens to me. I remember it working properly a while ago.

I've had mouse smoothing (or similar) in other games, and I always turn it off. Maybe it's to help with controllers? I can't seem to find a way to turn it off in this game sadly.

It's a problem in the second game too so I'm glad there is an option to turn it off there. I wish there was some sort of mod to turn it off here.

It's probably your refresh rate, since the game cannot handle anything seemingly above 120fps/60fps. I fixed it by changing my resolution and turning off V-Sync, I also capped it at 60fps back then when I revisited the game.

I was gonna check out if this fixed the issue at least partly but now for some reason the game won't run at more than 35 fps during gameplay. not a cap because it does run better in menu, leading screens, and some sections in the game. Don't know what is up with that. I'm about to reintall.
