From looking at the massive amount of problems being reported in the discussions, as well as the fact there hasn't been a single update or patch since the release of chapter 5, safe to say the developer abandoned the game yet?

The game is finished, not abandoned. There's no need for a patch or update. They're working on the next installment.

Clearly you haven't been having the multitude of issues other people have had then. The game needs to be patched at some point.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think most of the problems are related to Bendy's pathfinding AI, and that kind of AI can do unexpected things if it gets off course for any reason.

Nope. His issues are only a drop compared to the others. Menu issues, doors getting locked after loading a save and leaving you trapped to completely restart, progression being halted by things not triggering, the list goes on. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes not.

Oh well, my apologies. No, I haven't experienced any menu or world glitches, so I didn't know they existed. I don't spend too much time on this forum.
