So Free To Play Doesn't Let You Play The Game?

In the store it said this game is free to play until Chapter 2 which you have to purchase. Yet I can't PLAY the actual game. Every time I try to pick up items needed to turn on the machine nothing happens.

I press the E Button...nothing. I click with the left mouse button. Nothing. Does anyone know why all I can do is walk around and interact with the movie projector but NOT do anything else?

Alright, I'll check my computer's settings. I know there's a built-in way to record gameplay footage. Don't know if it will show my keyboard or just what's on screen though, so I'll record what I can.

I just need to know how to upload it into the forums to show the problem (I'll probably just go for the first item see whether its the wrench or something else) so I can upload it.

Uh the first chapter was free for me and I could play it all the way through also did the items you were supposed to collect sorta glow cause I think they are supposed to

Well I know for a fact when I find the Bendy Doll nothing happens and I tried to pick up the book too. It MIGHT be a glitch though. I know while trying to sort the controls out on my own I fell through the fell to a black screen that froze up entirely. I'm about to record some play footage though to see if anyone can spot any errors or things I might be doing wrong on my end.

Just to be clear, you have entered the power (pedestal) room already right? Because even if you know what the objects are in advance and know where they are, you can't pick them up until you actually get the objective: "Collect the six objects".

Edit: I think the actual objective is called "Fix The Ink Machine", and it gives the tip: Click objects to collect them".

Well then chances are I have not entered that room yet. My guess is I haven't located it, but if you have a screenshot of what it looks like I can use that to progress. Although I'm assuming I have to turn on the Ink Machine somehow first since that's the objective I've progressed to the furthest (if that doesn't start the machine up that is)

The pedestal room is how you turn on the ink machine or at least it's a step them u go to the movie reel room and have to push the flow button

You have to collect the six parts to turn on The Ink Machine (it's the last thing you do).

I think it's more then a possibility, I know for a fact I haven't been to the room with the pedestals yet and if that's how you turn the machine on then I definitely haven't gotten far enough yet.

Well to turn on the machine you have to get the items that are shown in pictures in the pedestal room
