Problem w/ flashing lights in game

When I finally got around to playing Chapter 2, after Chapter 3 had come out, I noticed a problem where the screen would constantly flash bright white, making it near impossible to play. Lowering the graphics quality fixed this somewhat, but not enough, and sometimes I'd just get a black screen with a white dot where my vision center was. I restarted the app several times and it still won't work. Anyone else have this problem, or advice on how to fix it?

Try uninstalling, verifying the game files, or lowering down the resolution in-game.

Thank you, Micah. I've tried lowering the resolution a great deal, but it didn't really fix the problem. Three questions: 1) If I uninstall the files will I have to pay again? This won't rule that out, I just want to know. 2) How do I verify game files? and 3) what do I do if I get a negative result from verifying them? Thank you.

1) No, you don't have to pay again since you owned them.

2) Right-click the game in your library, click Properties, under Local Files, then there you should see it.

3) I suppose you should try again.

Thank you, Micah. I just verified the files and it said they all passed, but the flashing white didn't stop... I think sometime soon I'll un/reinstall them.
