Appropriate for my 12 year old kid?

I just rescued my kid from his mom who never let him game at all and I'm trying to build him a good steam library for the rig I just built him. What do you older games with kids like me think of this before I get it for him? He won't stop talking about it but I don't play horror games so I dont know where to begin. Thx in advance.

im 13 and i can handle no problemo,theres no content where its nightmare enducing,but more like little jumps,in the first 2 chapters there 1 jumpscare in each that a bit scary,but he can handle it...-me

I'm sure you're inquiring whether it's gory or not? and no it isn't it's more like something along the lines of a scary kids game.

I'm just sort of learning as I go about being a full time parent and I don't want to freak him out. I'm sure its not gory but I don't want him screaming in the middle of the night for weeks to come.

Depends if you want your kid to grow up ready for the real world or not. I think twelve is old enough to have a bit of horror in their lives, but not all would agree. But there's no sex and very little "violence", if that's what you're asking. But it is pretty scary..!

Anyway, I suppose it depends on how gullible the kid is? I wouldn't mind this game at his age, as it's not phycological mind-f*ckery, but it's also pretty freaky first play-around. Tell him to hit alt-f4 if it gets too much, and make sure he understands that it's fictional .v.

I wound up getting it for him and he got freaked out by the music so he uninstalled it. hahahaha
