I'm just sort of learning as I go about being a full time parent and I don't want to freak him out. I'm sure its not gory but I don't want him screaming in the middle of the night for weeks to come.

Anyway, I suppose it depends on how gullible the kid is? I wouldn't mind this game at his age, as it's not phycological mind-f*ckery, but it's also pretty freaky first play-around. Tell him to hit alt-f4 if it gets too much, and make sure he understands that it's fictional .v.
