Continue from the wrong spot.

Last night I saved and quit and I was maybe halfway into chapter 3, but now I'm back at the start again. What gives?

I lost all my progress, I thought that the little timecard punch machines were supposed to save your game, or at least that there would be checkpoints after doing various things for Alice.

Which slot did you choose? If you choose Slot 1 there is a save glitch in that slot and only that slot only. You can tell if the glitch happened if you see a small bendy head flashing in the bottom right corner. If the glitch happens immediately close the game so you don't lose anymore progress. So I recommend using Slot 2 or 3. Hope this helped. ;)

i use slot 2, yet my game still doesnt save

Did you click "new game" or "continue" rather that "chapter select" or try a new slot.

You mean if I do start a new game in the second or third save slot to avoid the glitch then it still won't save? That's really annoying.

And here I thought the flashing bendy head meant it was saving.

And here I thought the flashing bendy head meant it was saving.

It does but if it flashes for more than 5 seconds you have encountered the glitch
