The barge is too difficult??

My boyfriend has been trying to beat the barge for 30 mins now... Anyone else having the issue.

its not that hard...you just need to press the handle in the barge and keep going...and everytime the barge dies you need to destroy the ink blots...and trying not to die by that giant hand...


or else, you are having some kind of bug...

Maybe, and this is made me mad too!

1) sometimes I can't see the damn blots; because it's to damn dark there! (it doesn't flashlight it, like the same in Chp 4 against Brute Boris)
2) the hitbox of the lever is laughable, sometimes it records/accept, sometimes it don't! (it should flash, like many object you can interactive, but you can't at the barge smh)
3) and thanks to the above two, you have to hurry, but thanks to those errors, if you miss even a second, you're dead!

I tried like 4-5 times, and I'm upset AF.

maybe if you try to put more brigth in the game it would help a bit...are your sensivity okay to?

I had this issue too, the hit box for the lever was kind of off, but i died so many times, i was able to figure out the hit box.

I had an issue with not only the lever not responding but 3 times the game refused to accept I hit the ink blobs at all no matter where I stood or what angle I hit them, dead on or not refused to get rid of them resulting in a death.

So sadly it is bugged and you are given little to no leeway for the bugs happening to escape. Then again I found it boring staring at the lever for 4 minutes or so of gameplay, you have no chance to look at the danger like in past chapters without dying and taking the long boat ride again.

NO! I'm not okay! I set the brightness, tried trice, and guess what? I still diyng contantly, because the ♥♥♥♥♥♥' issue with the barge's lever! IT SUCKS ASS!

Also, the user aboveme me points to another issue: the game just give up anything! Literally, after the 3rd time you stuck, and smash the blots; the lever doesn't responding!!!

Since my comment, I managed to beat the entire chapter, so here's my experience: the barge part is one of the most challenging part of the game as well chp 5. Also, you have to learn how and when to click to the lever, but it's kinda cryptic and horrendous.

You need to hold E on the barge throttle, and when the boat stops, quickly use the pipe to get rid of the ink. Repeat that until you reach the end. It's not that difficult.

I'm not ashamed. I'm just trying to say that the dang boat sequence is annoying.

Chapter 5 is supposed to be fast paced and intense. I struggled with the barge at first, but now I have no issues getting rid of the ink blots and escaping the giant hand. You're supposed to have that overwhelming feeling of dread as the hand comes after you. Yeah, the hitbox on them is a little off, but once you know where they appear, there's no issue.

I had trouble with it at fist. But once you down a rhythm, it's not too bad.

I mean it took me a good hour to do it because I kept clicking and it'd take too long to respond or I'd miss one of the inks. Like, I died every 60 seconds and I kept doing it til I got the rhythm and figured it out.
