I'm stuck! (Chapter 3 Glitch)

I want to play Chapter 5, but in order to do so (since my file got erased somehow) I have to play through the other chapters. I'm fine with that. However, I got to Chapter 3, went up to Alice's door (where you normally find all the dead borises) and it never opened. Alice didn't speak, Boris was stuck in the elevator. Reloading didn't help. I tried replaying Chapter 3, but it doesn't save, so I'm still stuck. Help??

Well I think Alice Angel stubbed her toe and it hurts too bad for her to come out

I can not go on in Chapter 3 either. I got the minigun and after I killed the projector, I collected five hearts, but it did not go any further. So I went back to chapter 3 again from the beginning, but after I finished, I got into the lift but it does not move. The more annoying things I turned off and on again, the save file started with a version of five hearts.

I also think it's worth noting that re-installing, at least if you've saved after the 5 hearts, does not help this.

I was collecting the ink hearts (had the ax from the boarded up room) and I had four of them. I hid in a booth from the projectionist, but it glitched and wouldn't let me out. I quit and went back into the chapter but it said i had all 5 hearts but it wouldn't let me turn them in. My computer lags so I can't restart and beat the butcher gang again

I'm not even to the ink hearts, I haven't even started the first task yet. Boris won't leave the elevator, Alice won't open the door so I can go and talk to her.

I can't help you, but I'm having a similar problem where when I go on the elevator at the end of chapter three to "go home"(yeah right) but I just sit there and the cutscene where the elevator crashes doesn't initiate

lol i am in the same situation, but i am in chapter select because i wanted the second achivement. It sucks the game is so buggy.
