That means it needs to update.
There's no longer DLC for the game, as it was added to the base game. If you did update the game, it should already be in there when you go to start it up. Is it not appearing still? What DLC list are you referring too?
- i have updated game
- i have checked for steam client update
- i have reinstalled the game
Chapter 5 is locked. Not only that, but ALL my save data is gone, AND when i try to replay the game, if i exit, my save data is wiped...again. I found this out when i ran into a bug on Chapter 3 where it wouldn't activate the elevator to take me to the surface, so i had exited and restarted the game to try and fix it only to find out all my save data was, again, wiped. Now i have to replay through, again, from chapter 1.
An older version of your save file might still be in theMeatly folder in AppData/LocalLow
Ok now I see what you mean. I don't have it in my list either, but I have it in my game. You said the game needed to update before and it did, correct? Even if it's not in the DLC list that update for the game itself should have been it.
When you launch the game does it let you play through chapter 5?
I uninstalled the game and reinstalled. Now all of the chapters are locked. and i dont see a chapter 5 in my DLC list on my library screen of bendy and the ink machine. What is going on?!?!
Please help!
Have been told this might be because your old save file was deleted with the reinstall process, which means you'd need to replay the game all over from the beginning. There is a thread in the discussions though with a chapter 3 save file if you don't want to start completely over though.
If you bought chapters 2-4 (Chapter 1 was free) then you should have the complete edition.
I had chapters 2-4 bought already and it says the game is already in my library, which sounds like I have the complete edition. I guess my game was changed into a different "complete version," or something to that effect.
Although strangely enough, it still lists the DLC for chapters 2-4 in my library, even though that's not really a thing now.
I wonder what happened if you only had some of the chapters bought, though... would the full game cost less?
...Someone else's thread seems to indicate it does not cost less. They told us to buy them earlier, but still, that's... unfortunate. Should work better than that.
