www. mediafire .com/file/yc2zxp9yxpd4er8/Joey+Drew+Studios.rar
Unzip the file, take the file inside the unzipped file, go to appdata locallow and place it here.
Thanks so much Glitch, I was heartbroken that my save file did not come over from chapter 4! Made my night!
You gotta go to locallow and Joey Drew Studios, not TheMeatly. That's the place where the new files are being saved too, hence why the whole folder in the .rar is the Joey one. Just take the save file from that collection of folders and place it where it'd go in the save for your folder. I'd keep a backup just in case -- the save file itself is from somewhere in chapter 3 though.
I can do a step by step if that's easier though.
put the file thats in the second joey drew file that is the game save
put that in the save file or joey drew 1 (non download)
load game
wait
hope and pray
mabey work
profit
Assuming your trying to use the Chapter 3 save file as your new save file:
-Download that mediafire link, save it whereever (or desktop for simplicity)
-Go to windows search and type in 'run' (or press windows key + r)
-type in %appdata% and press enter
-The text bar above with the file locations, backspace all of '\Roaming'. This will put you in the folder with just the appdata items.
-go to locallow
-go to Joey Drew Studios -Bendy and the Ink Machine - Saves
-That batim.game file you see is the one your replacing. If you want to make another folder (as a backup/just incase) feel free to put it in the same folder and name it however it wont harm anything. Go to the place where you saved the .rar file.
-Unzip the file and when it asks where, do 'here'. If you can't unzip it, try using a program like 7zip (or another opensource unzipper)
-It's the same Joey drew folder. Go through it and 'cut' the save file out of that folders saves, and place it in your own Joey drew studios folder back in appdata.
-Voila! That save file should pop up in save 1 or 2, depending on if you still have the old save in theMeatly folder in the same place that you found the Joey drew studios one.
If anythings confusing or needs a better explanation (or isnt working), just ask.
To be fair the guys pulled an all nighter. I wouldn't be surprised if they were sleeping right now.
but then again ya might wanne see if your game works before publishing it
(before ya go well you do better NO I WOULD NOT I KNOW THE STRUGGLE OF CODING AND I KNOW THE PAIN I WOULD SAY ♥♥♥♥ IT TO)
Nah I wasn't gonna, but yeah. I see both sides of it. Some things just can't be foreseen though. I would have waited to lock out the chapters for people until after chapter 5 had been out though, save the complicity of that whole mess for later, but what's done is done. We'll just have to be patient.
