They only charge for early access versions. The final release will be free not counting the cost of the original game (which is on-sale right now for the Winter Sale).

BaggyG would be the best one to answer that question but I would bet money on it not being released on Steam at least nothing as grandiose as the Half-Life 2 VR mod was. You'll probably see posts here at Steam but the files and installation instructions will likely be somewhere else. I'd guess there's going to be a post on their Patreon page that isn't blocked by a paywall that likely links another site that's hosting it.

I've posted a gameplay video to my Youtube channel if anyone wants to check it out. This is the latest version released a few hours ago. It's mostly the beginning of the game and I must say it's an excellent VR mod! I had never played the game before even on flatscreen so I didn't know what to expect and you can probably tell if you watch it. It was a lot of fun! You can see me moving around in a playspace and using motion controllers and all worked excellent.

Great! personally i think Outlast 1 and 2 plus Visage would be good in VR.
