If I try to start the game, it just shows a black screen and plays the logo audio, waits some time then crashes.
If I set the "-screen-fullscreen 0" launch option, the game shows the logo, the loading screen and after checking the save data crashes to the desktop.
I tried disabling the full screen mode from prefs, but it is just ignored. I'm not sure if it can be relevant, but I am using dual monitors.
csteamworks is missing, same symptoms as above.

Launch the game in steam and screen goes black for 10 seconds and then closes. Nothing happens. Any ideas??
Fix here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/622650/discussions/0/1489987634004919065/
I used 7 Days to Die to copy its two files (libCSteamworks.so and libsteam_api.so) to Bendy's directory. After that, the game launches fine. I've just started on Chapter 2.
I was getting a similiar issue except I was not getting a black screen. It would start and show the initial load and crash after sitting on checking for DLC for several seconds. Although, I had to source my copies of the files from TIS-100

https://steamcommunity.com/app/622650/discussions/0/1489987634004919065/?ctp=3 has all that appears to be necessary to need to get the run on Linux, someone even uploaded the required files to GitHub: {LINK REMOVED}https://git.io/vxtp8
Just download the files and put them in the x86 and x86_64 directories under "$HOME/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Bendy and the Ink Machine/BATIM_Data/Plugins/"
Then right-click the game in Steam to add "-screen-fullscreen 0" in the Launch Options.
I just played through Chapters 1 & 2 and I'm playing Chapter 3 now, wandering around level K... so far not a single issue or glitch, it all works perfectly.
The fix was published 3 months ago, the files 1 months ago. While the fix is easy for what I think is the average Linux user, I may be very wrong about what the average Linux user really is like. It would definitely be a whole lot easier for everybody if the files were just included in the game.
Hopefully you'll see your Linux user base grow, once game works on Linux out of the box ;)
It'd be also nice of you to leave comments in the relevant Steam forum threads:

Oh, and I'm using Ubuntu Studio 17.10 with the old NVidia drivers version 384.
