Why boris is quiet

I found out why boris is quiet.First of all,he is very shy to talk to henry.This might explain why so many people are confused as to why boris is quiet.Either way,I might be wrong.

Maybe he simply can't talk

Toons in that era were silent up until the 30s. It's possible that's a reason, unless Boris is just simply incapable of speaking.

aside from, "uo,oh and Woah" Crash Bandicoot Never spoke. so maybe there isn't a reason for it. just like in crash's case. there is no cannon reason.

Well, in "Haunted Hijinx" he kinda spoke, yelling a BOO! to Bendy, so...maybe he's simply incapable of speaking ^^;

It's probably cause he can't talk in the game. It's possible when they were brought to life, they didn't have vocal cords in them cause their voices would be from a human. Inked Alice can only talk possibly cause she's fused with Susie her voice actress, so she has a voice. And Inky Bendy can't talk cause he never had a voice, if anything, he should just make random sound effects like he did in the show. but then again, those sound effects were from a different source, not coming from him.

But most people dub Boris with a Goofy kinda voice since he looks similar to Goofy. Poor guy can't be individualized from Goofy :C And yes, he was voiced in Haunted Hijinx, but the voice actor wasn't creditted for that one line so I'm going with he can't speak cause he has no vocal cords or his vocal cords are like paralyzed so it makes him mute. But he's still a sweet wolf, helping out. I hope he can be saved before he is hurt :c

Well. I apologize. I didn't know he could talk cause I can't use headphones on my computer cause something is broken that won't allow sound to both ear cups. I only was aware he made some sound cause I've noticed a video called "Sounds that Inky Bendy makes" or something like that. So sorry I was wrong about that cause I couldn't hear him. Either way, this is about Boris, not Bendy.

Wrong: Barley (the Fisher) does have an original line, which is "Yar, ye pirate's cold!", and the rest of the Butcher Gang can actually yell and growl. Heck, even the Searchers have their sound XD No, it's just Boris who can't speak.

They do talk. It's easier to hear them if you hide in a miracle station, cause they'll start to leave and you can hear them grumbling lines.

I was thinking about this and it might be possible Boris isn't who we initially think he is or there are two of him in chapter 4. Alice said she was mutated by the ink twice. Sammy looked like he was wearing Boris's overalls. My guess is Sammy could have been mutating into an instance Borris. Heck, maybe Ink Bendy finished the transformation. If that's the case, I think Sammy wouldn't speak as he wouldn't want Henry to know it's him as it might cause distrust when the two need each other to have any chance of fixing the situation.
