[THEORY] Henry is an Ink Person!
Ok, here me out: At the start of chapter 2, Henry passesses out on a pentagram, right? It is my belief that this turned hin into an ink person.
Reason 1: In chapter 2, Sammy doesn't immediantly regognize henry, and says "He will set US free"
Reason 2: In chapter 4, the ink people don't react to Henry. If he was human, they would have been surprised.
Reason 3: When Henry dies, he's transported back to the Ink. The quote "...Buzzing, screaming well of voices!"
What do you think?

Good point. But, the ink monsters don’t seem to always be peaceful together, seeing as how Butcher Gangs die immediately when they are near Bendy, Alice despised all other ink creatures, and (spoiler alert) Bendy kills the projectionist in Chapter 4.

And, if i may add to the spoiler, the Projectionist fights back "Bendy", he didn't escape or else. Also, "Bendy" does not have a care for anyone, even for those whom worship him (like Sammy).

So, to quote a certain bad guy in Undertale, "In this world, it's kill or be killed!"

Your Best Friend begins playing...

1) First of all, by the assonance of the names Henry-Bendy (and that could also explain why there's the name of the antagonist in the game's title :P).

2) Secondly, the new respawn they've added with the updates, which is a "buzzing, screaming well of voices".

3) Sammy, while he seems to recognize Henry, also touches his own mask while saying so.

4) So far, we've got three twisted versions of the three main characters: "Bendy", Alice" and now "Boris". Now, we also got two...good, i think, versions of them: "Allison" (Allison Pendle, i believe) and "Tom" (Thomas Connor?). So, why not Henry has turned into..."Henry" (with the " " this time :P)?

Even though these thoughts may be considered wrong one day, i agree with the fact that Henry became an inky person, also because of those visions we got in chapter 4 and by one fact...we survive from that damn elevator crash without feeling injured at all! Just... HOW? X°D
I have this theory as well. Also, when Henry wakes up at the beginning of Chapter 2, we see ink surrounding his field of vision. He also bleeds ink when fighting Bertrum despite the fact that Bertrum isn't an ink monster, meaning he's bleeding ink and not just having it slung at him.

So names dont do much with this but very good i love it he goes through the screaming well of voices i cant find anything bad about it he put his fingers on his face 1. hes weird as frick 2.hes tapping it to sign face the Allison one ok Tom nice but you being the fixed bendy would boris notice and wouldnt alice try to kill you and then why do you come in trough the front door that falling thing though i understand but its a video game where Henry might be falling to hell or ink hell and fight bendy and lose or win idk

he has ink surrounding it but this supports both of you thoughts he couldve just got beaten up by bendy or he turn into a ink person the burtrum thing is good but this breaks my thought but he has ink following through him as energy for some sort and how come you recover if you an ink person as far as im consered the butcher gang doesnt recover or anything

we have proof of its kill or be killed down here in this chapter 2-4 it makes that very clear

2.) Some of the lost ones do look at him, though. I'd imagine they're staring with curiousity.
3.) Speaking of which, I would imagine Alice would avoid Henry at all costs if that was the case. She has came into contact with him after Chapter 3 and at the end of Chapter 4.
Actually, if you remember correctly, she has never come into direct contact with Henry. When she does let you into her sanctuary (if you can call it that) there is a glass panel seperating you from her, and once she is done talking she immediately closes the shutters almost like she is afraid of any possibilty that he could get to her. The only time she comes anywhere close to Henry is whne she is finally fed up with his determination to live and sees no other way to get rid of him at the end of 4. And she never actually does touch him even then.

Ah, and to support this theory further, when you fall down the elevator shaft and start chapter 4, if you look at your feet there is ink splatter where you were laying as well as where you possibly smacked the floor when it fell inside the elevator (hence why you were unconcious and Boris was not). There is no ink from where Boris was dragged away either, so if he was wounded enough for that ink splatter to be his and not Henry's there would be a trail from where Alice dragged him away, just like when Bendy drags the projectionist's body away. So logically, the ink splatter is from Henry, not Boris or anyone else. So this further supports the theory that Henry is at least close to becoming an ink person. Though, i think the process of becoming an ink person doesnt happen immediately. When it comes to the ones that we meet that are able to talk we hear the one say "he'll find me. he always finds me" so they have likely "died" many times before they reached that point. The only exception seems to be the people that played the parts of certain characters that likely took part in the ritual that made them that way in the first place. That effect likely bled over to the rest of the people in the studio through the ink itself. Which, as we know quite well, Henry has been basically swimming in this whole time. It would make sense that he would be becoming just like them, and at a similar rate. He has not undergone the ceremony that the others likely have and he was never a voice actor for a character (which is actually quite important if we look at Alice). In the case of Boris and Bendy we dont actually know who voiced them, or if they even had voice actors at all. In fact Boris would seem to be quite the mute anyways. So it's hard to tell if they even have anyone on the inside like Alice does. And i still think that out of all the characters that we do know about, that Henry is actually Boris's creator. It makes total sense when you look at how fond he is of Boris as well as how well he knows his character. He knows food is a good motivator for Boris, as well as the fact that he is scared of the dark. He knows that Boris is someone he can depend on, which under normal circamstances he would be very wary of literally anything in such a harrowing place. He goes though hell just to try to save Boris, when he should really be trying to save himself. It's not like Boris could leave with him if he does ever get out. So why even try so hard? Considering the fact that Boris cannot talk, it's very odd that he just knows all this stuff about Boris's character. Hence i am convinced that Henry is his creator. So if it follows the same logic of "creator or actor becomes their character" then Henry would be becoming a Boris, not a Bendy. Suppose we will have to see in the next chapter. It will all be explained in the end one way or another.

About the cartoon transformation, there's an interesting theory i've found looking about those of Ink Henry: that every person is turned into a cartoon depending of their role in the Studios, which are also connected to the relics from chapter 1. For example: all the Alices are born from the voice actress (Susie and Allison), the Boris from the technicians (like Thomas Connor, and that would also explain how did Tom attached the animatronic's arm to himself at the end of chapter 4, not to mention Boris' familiarity with vents and doors in chapter 3), and Bendy to the creators/animators (Joey and Henry). The only problem, though, is that Sammy (an ink person who regained his twisted personality) wears Boris overalls, and he was the Music Department's director :P

I still believe, though, that Henry created ALL the characters in the studio (not only Boris), while Joey took credit from his work (like when he attempted to steal Bertrum's Bendyland). Like Henry said, "Joey is a man of ideas...and only ideas.". I've also thought that the character which Henry was talking about was Boris but, after reading Ub Iwerks' biography (the real person whom Henry was based on, while Joey was based on Walt Disney), i'm considering that it could also be Bendy as well. As for the matters of why he attempted to rescue Boris in spite of his life could as well be for the reasons you said, but it could also be that...well...he is the only cartoon character who didn't attempt to kill him in sight and who also helped him so far XD

P.S. : I may as well re-read and edit this message when i've got a free moment for myself, i have the weird sensation that i've been confusing X°D

I don't think he stole Bendy Land after all he PAID Bertrum to build that for him, at the moment it seems Bertrum was to much up his own ass to realise he was paid for a job which he did and nothing more,

He stole the merit of his work, Bertrum also said it in his second tape."I built this park. It was to be a masterpiece! My masterpiece! And now you think you can just throw me out? Trample me to the dust and forget me? "

To me it sounds like his work was done, he wanted more out of the deal then what it seems would be agreed on an average contract to building a park, not to mention hes built parks before so course the public would of known it was his work and not all Joey Drew. Unless the public back then was idiots butttt then again it seems noone came to see what happened to their loved ones turned to ink creatures unless everyone working there had no loved one or family nearby part from Henry

It was half-way done...then it has been stored away in the storage :P Ok, he paid Bertrum to build the park...but he didn't direct the construction AT ALL. It was Bertrum who build it, so i think he deserves a little praise c'mon XD It's a fact that Joey is an obsessively manipulative person. Him taking Bendy Land's credit was one of the many examples: Shawn Flynn laments that Joey got upset because one of the Bendy dolls got a crooked smile, without showing any care of the Alice's dolls; he first flirted with Susie, but then he replaced her with Allison and, when Susie's around, he spoke behind doors; he belittles Bertrum in fron of important Wall Street business men by calling him "Bertie"; he takes credit from Henry's work without doing a thing...

It's a fact that Joey wants to control everything and everyone, and he does so without doing anything but letting others do their work and then take it for himself. And i stop talking about Joey here...not because i don't want to talk about it, but it's not the right topic for it. We're going Off Topic, after all :P
