Creepier then Silent Hill
I don't plan on buying this game (too horrifying) but I want to just give a shout out that I'm impressed with how FREAKING DISTURBING IT IS. I looked it up on TVtropes and just absolute pure horrifying... Maybe I'm so used to googling Silent Hill I'm just creeped out by it and not truly disturbed (anymore..?) by it but looking this game up JEEZ it's gruesome... I'm just er posting to say it's intruiging and horrifying but I'm too scared to play it lol.

Honestly, i never got silent hill vibes and i have been a long time fan of silient hill. No, BATIM actually made me think much more of Amnesia the Dark Decent. Maybe it's all the machinery and dark magic stuff, but upon first playing it that's all that came to mind. Not a bad thing, might i add. Amnesia is a horror game classic for a reason. But definitely never got the feeling it was inspired by silent hill.

I never said it was Silent Hill themed just saying Silent Hill is the only horror game I've played and Bendy is more disturbing then it.

Well then, i suggest you play more horror games that you can tolerate. If that is the only game you have ever played that is horror, i highly suggest you try others. Some of the best games out there are horror based (though i may just be biased cause that is one of my favorite genres anyways) and you are missing out if you avoid them. As far as horror games go though, Bendy and the Ink Machine is pretty tame, at least if you consider the fact that it doesnt actually contain any blood or gore per se. But if you have problems with horror in general i completely understand. Some people just can't handle it. But it is important to note that there are different types of horror and you may be able to handle a certain type. For instance i have known plenty of people that cannot handle paranormal horror in particular (ghosts and demons for instance) but were just fine with any other type.

The psyhological aspects are more messed up in Bendy

I'm sorry, but noooooo. I've played a lot of Silent Hill since the first game came out, and BATIM is not creepier in my opinion. When there is literally a monster that rapes other monsters, it's hard to top that one. In terms of psychological and atmosphere Silent Hill has it in numbers. The major difference, and why I prefer BATIM is because I enjoy the story and overall setting more. But in creep factor, Silent Hill takes the cake. Then again, some of them where kinda crap, but overall, yeah, no thanks. Send me to Joey Drew Studios anyday over Silent Hill.

I did say it might be because I'm so used to ♥♥♥♥♥ doesn't faze me anymore but a new horror game would scare me.

might be because it relies on your childhood, with the cartoons, symbol of innocence that become a source of horror

Probably yeah

Silent Hill is literally psycological horror. When you enter Silent Hill, all the demons you fight are literally manifestations of your inner demons. This is seen most prominantly in 2 where you end up fighting your own wife that you murdered. BATIM may be in a similar vein, but until everything is explained we wont know if everything is just in Henry's mind or if it's actual physical horror. Though i think it's more creational horror than anything, due to the fact that it appears to be based around the fear of your own creations coming to life in a way you never forsaw. It's more of a "what have i created?" instead of a "who am i really?". So it's more along the lines of horror ala frankensteins monster XD Also, the talk of some of the Silent Hill games being crap gives me reason to state that you should really completely ignore all the Silent Hill games after 4. Maybe include Shattered Memories (if you are like me and can easily acclimate to clunky controls), but that's it. The reason being that after 4 they moved so far away from the source material that it doesnt even qualify as Silent Hill. Im a bit of a purist for the series in that if it doesnt have the setting of the story actually in Silent Hill or at least have mention of (or something to do with) Walter Sullivan or Harry Mason then it's not a part of the series (they are both in their own ways the root of it all). Anything else is just Konami milking the namesake. If they actually tried putting the original team back in place maybe they could slavage the series but...it does not look like that will ever happen unless Konami finally sells the rights to another company that would be willing to do so. It's too much of a cash cow for Konami to do that though sadly.

Played Downpour and read everything on the wiki

Downpour was by far the absolute worst of all the Silent Hill games. Just saying. Even Origins wasn't as bad as Downpour.
