I never brought the game but did play through chapter one.
Now the full edition is on sale and I would love to purchase it, however the store page states I already own it.
If I try to download it, the download completes instantly. If I try to run the game it says I'm missing the executable.
I am not sure if deleting the game from your library would work to allow you to repurchase the game, but I would consider that a last resort (or search to see if it helped anyone else with any other game).
The only suggestion I can think of is to contact Steam and see if they have anything to say that would help you.
ROBsLab :-).
Do what h13 says and it works. Gotta go into the View licenses and product keys in your account.
two years ago it wasnt possible to remove games from the account, but at some point valve solved this and the process is very simple:
in the steam client, you click in
1 "help" -> "steam support"
2 "games"
3 click in "search" and write the name of the game.
4 click "I want to remove this game from my account permanently"
5 confirm that you want to do that, and you arent confused about trying to start a refund process.
6 thats it

Even better go to your account details and go into the View licenses and product keys and then delete.
It was for me.
maybe it was a problem with this stuff?
I just saw in the reviews, that some people seem to have these problems and I didn't want to open a new threat, so I asked here. :)
But thanks for your answer - so I think, I'll wait.
Wait for what.. for them to fix it?
you can basically do that yourself.
Just bought it - and luckily I don't have any problems.
But, it's true that I could fix it myself - but to be honest: I'm mostly too lazy. ;)
