What Actually Happened To Sammy? (Theory)

So, incase some of you haven't heard, in Chapter Three there is a secret that'll trigger Sammy to speak if you play instruments in a certain order... what is interesting, though, is that this takes place AFTER Bendy "attacks" Sammy. Most people (including myself) thought he died but now that this was discovered, people were having other thoughts. Someone pointed out that they think Sammy would switch to Alice's side or form his own side since Bendy almost killed him. But you have to remember that how we even know he's still alive in the first place is because we hear him say "He will set us free". Sammy should be refering to Bendy since he used the word "he" not "she" and the only other dudes that we know of in the studio are Boris and yourself. He obviously dousen't like you very much (trying to sacrifice you and all) and I'd assume he wouldn't like Boris either since Boris is on your side. That would indicate he is still very clingy to Bendy. Also, we don't know what Bendy did to Sammy behind that door. During Sammy's speech (Chapter Two), he tells you that he wants Bendy to set him free from "this inky, dark, abyss I call a body" and that's possible that Bendy did exactily that, he freed him from his inky body. I think the reason Sammy was yelling for him to "SAY BACK!" was because he was expecting Bendy to go for the scrafice rather than just come right up to him. Even at the ending screen of Chapter Two we see Sammy's mask on the floor next to a puddle of ink--which could much likely be his body since he wouldn't need it anymore thanks to Bendy transfering his soul into his natural body (what I think Bendy was actually doing to Sammy inside the room). This also supports the theory about Bendy being Joey Drew . If Joey somehow gained the power or skill to transfer himself into Bendy's body, it would only make sense for him to be able to give Sammy his normal body back. If the bodies of the people turned into cartoons are still exsisting and in the workshop, that would explain the coffins we see at the end of Chapter One and start of Chapter Two. I mean, they were surrounding a ritual, that ritual could've been the one were they made themselves into cartoon charaters. I understand Sammy was really salty towards Joey Drew in the recordings therefore it wouldn't make that much sence for Sammy to suddenly start worshipping Bendy but he could've 1. Just be pretending to be crazy about Bendy so that it's more likely Bendy would give him his body back. 2. Sammy really is insane and it got to his head. Or, we could go with the not-so-exciting route and say that the voice we heard was just a audio recording.

I never thought Sammy really died. Judging from the end cutscene, I always figured Ink Bendy did something to him rather than kill him. Prior to chapter 3, there used to be an ink puddle that would bleed out from under the door (implying Ink Bendy killed him). That puddle is now gone, which helps the theory that Ink Bendy did NOT actually kill him. There is also a pair of shoes that stand next to the puddle left on the floor by his mask. It's possible Ink Bendy did in fact free him of that particular ink body, but turned him into something else, judging by the shoes.

I never noticed the shoes, that's so cool! It would be interesting to see Sammy in his actual body in-game

or.. he just escaped. and by "he" he meant us and it would be the coolest thing ever to see him helping us fighting bendy or alice in chapter 5 or something! also by the shoes i dont have chapter 2 yet. but i will check when i will buy it

That does sound pretty awesome! But to be honest, I'd prefer the insane Sammy that is obsesed with Bendy. All those NOTICE ME SENPAI memes are hilarious XD. But there's no denying it, it would be a pretty surprising twist if he did become good. Also, it would be fun to have him rescue Boris with us!
