Extreme lag when recording with FRAPS
Specs:
Windows 7 64 bit
AMD Phenom 9150e 1.8 GHz (Soon AMD Phenom 9350e 2GHz)
Nvidia GeForce 210 1GB DDR3

I get almost to no lag when im playing normally, but I noticed when I was recording BATIM using fraps for a video, that the game went extremely laggy. I checked my settings, everything is off and I have my graphics on low.

Again, the lag doesn't appear until i start recording.

Also, I can see minor lag spikes when the Swollen Ones appear out of the ink.

Consider that the games' requirements say that your OS should be at least Win10.
It's not impossible to play on Win7 (I do that myself) but having other things open will definitely slow the game down.
I couldn't even watch a stream without the game lagging and my computer isn't even that slow. It's just not really designed with Win7 in mind.

I know?
I'm saying, if you had a PC that is more compatible with the game, it probably wouldn't lag if you have other things running too, like Fraps.

Fraps is probably slowing down the computer. if so, is there any way to make it less demanding?

maybe if i set the priority to low
Try to record in 720 p or lower and see if Fraps that are too much to your computer to handle.
