Jumpscares?

Edit: Played it and not as bad as people made them out to be, I actually enjoyed them! thanks to those who gave the heads up

I want to play this game and maybe get Chapter 2, however I am not the biggest fan of horror due to the jumpscares or the jumpscare screams. A lot of the cliche jumpscares I do not like such as image with a loud pitched scream ya know?

Just want to know does this have that many really?
I love the style of the game, the cell-shading (I think it is?) I do enjoy and I actualyl want to be part of the game and not just those fans that say they are a massive fan yet won't touch the game ya know?
I hate for a game such as this to pass me by because of the jumpscares, sorry if this seems like a stupid post.

Chapter 1 has 6 scares, only 1 is a big jumpscare, 4 are small jumpscares and 1 is a sort of creepy/disturbing thing you find.

Chapter 2 has 14 scares, 3 big jumpscares, 3 medium jumpscares (1 of which is repeating if your not quick enough, smart enough, don't know the code - timed puzzle that ends with a loud noise that will scare you at least once) 2 small jumpscares, 4 creepy moments, 1 scary moment you only hear not see and 1 is this good or bad moment.

All this from memory so it may be off.

It's not surpposed to be a scare but it's suprising and could scare you.

Yeah I ignored them for a reason, the audience is most likely horror fans but that doesn't mean people who are not fans can get into it because the horror part is light compared to more serious horror games which I am thankful for.
Plus is a nice start for some to get into horror which did not grow up with Silent hill or whatever.


Not surprised this game has trolls/haters who seem to think if they hate it, it must die or not exist anymore. Anything new and gets popular from YTers has these type of trolls, just ignore and move on

I dont consider them jumpscares, I say they are more like suprises that you have a lot more time to react to (searchers) or they just jump out with a little noise and spook you (Randomly placed bendy cutout) Thats what makes the little spooks scary, because the game itself is mostly EXTREMELY quiet.

Played it, not as bad as everyone want making it out to be, I actually enjoyed them part from the major one but least he didn't chase you
