If that remains consistent then the full game will be about three hours.
If chapter 2 includes all future DLC then there's no problem here. Three hours of gameplay for $6 is fair. Not ideal, but it's fair.
If every chapter costs money then the final game will be three hours of gameplay for $24, which is just completely unjustifiable. I get that quality of the experience factors in and that it's not just about playtime...but cmon.
I heard someone say you get all the DLC for spending $5 on the official page. Hopefully that actually is the case for steam as well.
Here, it has to make sense to the stories background and set pieces, if they stretched it out people may find it too boring and stretching it out just to make it seem long, would you prefer it was longer but had pointless stuff in it which could be left out?
Support the developers, the game style and effort you can see has been put into it. What happened to buying games for the experience and not for how long it may or may not be depending how fast you can complete it?
If all chapters were free or cheaper it would not be showing any support for the developers time and efforts on actually making this game, without money this game would not even be here.
But you are pretty much trying to say
Hey dev's you made this game but because I feel it is too short for my money's worth you should just hand it out and waste your day for free just for us because we said so.
You try making a game and then players going "too short for my liking, should be free or it is a bad game" or along those lines. It just seems abit too selfish IMO. But that is just my 2 cents, buy the game for the experience, not for how long you want it to be
Kinda sick of players these days again seeing games as £1 = 6 hours of content. Already got gamers insisting top-end graphics or the game is considered bad, yep gameplay? not important, not anymore. -shrugs-
Nevermind the fact that once you've seen the movie the experience is over and that you could most likely play a game a few times before becoming bored and being done with it.
