Game won't play

I've tried verifying, uninstalling and reinstalling, and everything else I can think of. I just want to play again. I did just buy a new computer.

Having same problem. Runs fine on my mac, but my new PC Win 11 let me install, but when I launch from Steam it acts like it is going to do something and then just comes back to Steam.

I downloaded and installed vcredist_x86.exe from the following URL and can now start it.
