Can I play this online with my friends?
If we all buy a copy of this game, can we play online together? We are searching for an online co-op board game that we can play together while we chat over discord while we are in lock down. Given the theme, this seems like a good option.

Also how many players does it have?

If you can make this game work reliably online with other players, and share the solution with the rest of us, you will be a hero. ;-)

It's crazy. I mean, it's an asmodee game, so they already have the online playing platform ready to host it. Other asmodee games are multiplayer but not this one? That's so bizarre.

Wait! One cannot play online with family? On the page it says it was a multiplayer ;(

No where does it say online multiplayer.
It says split screen and remote play together.

Use discord instant streaming or remote play. Unfortunately, the remote play option requires huge amount of upstream (2 remote players uses up to 20+ mbit/s). Yesterday we played a 5 player game, one remote connected, 3 using my discord stream.

Thank you Palmdale. I will setup and test discord.

via discord: do people need to own the game? and is the upstream smaller?

I saw a review that mentioned using Steamlink works really well if your computer can already do that. Also, some other people have used Zoom and shared controls so that people can play from different computers, even if it looks like it's set up for one person. Hope that helps!

Also, does anybody know how many character you can play with at a time? I have a game group of 6-8 people, and I want to know how many of us would play.

5 is the max as per the board game.

Yep! Same here. At the end we just realised we had the settings set to easy, so next time we want a harder level :)

@kapeed It was a mistake, and it's working again. Sorry about that.
