DLC Character suggestion

Hi everyone, i pre bought this game and i am enjoying every second of it. Though, i missed some Fate/Apocrypha characters, such as Mordred (personal favorite), Semiramis, Frankenstein and some more. What do you think? I would gladly pay to play with Mordred, because in my country FGO is not available.

Not going to dispute any of these points here - looking at what (little) I have of the game's source code and inner workings reverse-engineered and ripe for analysis supports the idea of most things being copy-pasted in whatever Extella engine SDK the Type-Moon guys use just for the sake of getting the game out the door more than anything else.

But if you'll excuse me playing devil's advocate for a second, now that there's multiplayer and we've seen that Type-Moon can, in fact, add DLC characters (Young Altera seems to be her own character with her own data and her own parameters internally), what's to stop an additional character being announced and added at some point in the future purely to introduce power creep? Anyone who's dealt with F/GO should be willing to testify that Type-Moon is greedy and you can't put these sorts of things past them, and making people pay to get something overpowered that dominates the multiplayer scene is one of the most effective means of making someone pay to begin with (ask EA DICE).

There's also how it'd be fairly easy to ♥♥♥♥ out Jalter or some more of the Tamamo Nine given how they're all either recolors or costume variants and the only real barrier would be scheduling a time for the VA to come back and record new lines, but that's neither here nor there.

They'll most likely add a couple more characters cant say that mordreds guaranted tho. Also you can play FGO even in other countries if you download the apk from Apkpure or Qooapp for example. Although you might have to go through the myriad of error codes.

Should Have more "Assassin" Servant because we have only Li Shuwen.

I agree that we need more Assassins. Sasaki Kojirou would fit here perfectly in my opinion,

But still, i want MORDRED.

Assassin suggestions, huh...

1. Jack the Ripper. She's a fan favourite and of course we also need a female Assassin daughter to protecc.

2. Sasaki Kojirō. Oh, you don't remember him? He's the series' stable Assassin from Fate/Stay Night. His Swallow Reversal is an iconic NP of the franchise. Sure, somewhat generic NP, but he's an iconic character nevertheless.

Judging by dialogue in-game, that one's a good contender, actually, as Charles refers to her in the most round-about way - "Hanging Gardens of Babylon", he can't recall her name, etc. Trivia-wise, she's similar to him, too, as she's more myth than fact. And, what with the whole mobile fortress-theme with both Charles' and Karl's base, her Gardens would fit right in too (NP + new stages?).

And, speaking of FSN-characters, I'd greatly appreciate Medea.

Thanks for your replies! I forgot about Jack the Ripper, there are surely a lot of characters that would fit on the game. I hope they will read us and make something about it!

We don't have a single Avenger, so I suggest Jeanne Alter for that (also for the reason we don't have a single Alter servant so far, and need a Jeanne that doesn't kill herself with her NP)
Artoria Alter would be a good addition as well, even though she's not an Avenger, one Alter servant is better than none.

For Assassins:

> Shiki Ryougi
> Assassin EMIYA
> Shuten Dōji
> King Hassan (if we get any Hassan, it should be him)
Also, I agree with the people suggesting Sasaki Kojirō, tbh.
We're still missing Stay Night and Zero servants (Medea, Hercules, Diarmuid...) and that's a shame.

What I would really like to see is Lancer Artoria as well.

We only have 3 empty spots left, so I can't tell how likely any of these are with that limited space.

Agreed. Not only that, but being the only Assassin, Li Shuwen is... hot garbage when it comes to clearing sectors. I wish he had a bigger cleave on light attacks.

The thing about characters in Extella is that they have to somewhat have an "explosive" NP to fit in the game. A lot of characters that have single-target NPs like Kojirou and silent kill ones like Serenity (or most Assassins, really) wouldn't fit very well.

Saber Lancelot would be nice. I'd love to see some interactions between him and Artoria. I don't even care if they reuse some of Berserker Lancelot's moves.

Xuanzang Sanzang would be a good fit since even though she's a caster, she's a good melee fighter (from what we see in FGO, anyway). I'd imagine her NP would be a giant Buddah avatar delivering a giant palm strike.

Minamoto no Raikou would be the dream though. Darius and Lu Bu are both amazing in-game and they really nailed how controlling a Berserker should feel like, I've no doubt they'll do really well implementing Raikou.
