Having a issue on your Discord channel.

When I first joined your discord channel I could post in your channel I went there today and now it is asking me to verify my identity by phone to post and it also blocks me from DM the devs by saying

Your message could not be delivered because you don't share a server with the recipient or you disabled direct messages on your shared server, recipient is only accepting direct messages from friends, or you were blocked by the recipient.

Can the devs or moderators help fix this please.

There were a number of issues with people posting inappropriate content, which is why the requirements to be able to post have been elevated.

So does that mean I wont be able to interact with the channel anymore without attaching a phone if so I am out I will not attach my phone to discord. Last time I attached my phone to a service I was constantly harassed by telemarketers and had to change my number. Is there anyway you can exempt me since I have done no wrong.

I realize that it is a somewhat harsh rule, and I respect your choice not to attach a phone given your past experience, although I highly doubt Discord would want to violate user privacy.

I have now given you a named role, which should allow you to post.

There isn't exactly a lot going on on the server though.
