I think we did reply to an email you had sent us with a solution but thought we would share it here for others to try.
We unfortunately do not have a sensitivity option in the game but there is a way to make it less sensitive on the controller joystick via Steam. I just tried it out my end and it did work so hopefully this can for you!
It requires a few steps:
1) I need you to navigate to aote in your Steam Library right click on properties until the general window is open. Once it is open look for 'Steam Input Per-Game Setting' and I need you to change that to 'Forced On'. The game needs to be off just now.
2) Once that is done run the game
3) Once in game bring up the Steam overlay 'Shift+tab'
Once that is open click on 'Controller Configuration'
4) A menu will pop up
5) Double click the 'Joystick Move' LS CLICK it will open this menu then click on additional settings
6) Now this is the fiddly part. You can lower the sensitivity via the 2 bars but some settings can result in no movement at all. It seems to be a balancing act between the sensitivity and the dead zone Outer.
These values below I tweaked and the movement with left stick definitely slowed down:

So, it looks like a bit of trial and error! You might need to restart a few times but it did slow down movement with a joystick for me!
Hope this helps!
