WRC 7
G29 - Device not connected
I managed to configure my g29 so it was all fine (except the fakt that the FFB in this Game is completky messed up.) but a week ago suddenly my wheel has not been recognized at all anymore. I tried so many things to get it right again but nothing worked. By the way in Dirt Rally the wheel is only shown as gamepad. Worked fine before that horrible day , In Dirt 4 nothing changed ... wheel works fine. Does somebody know how to fix???
Thank you so much....

Hey guys,

Sorry to hear you're experiencing these issues. The devs are working to improve compatibility in the coming update. In the meantime we recommend these trouble shooting steps:

1 - If possible, it's better if you can erase the game's saving files
2 - Download the Logitech's assistant software ( http://support.logitech.com/software/lgs )
3 - Launch the software
4 - Plug in the wheel
5 - Launch the game

Let us know if this helps.

Oh, and never ever use your keyboard to start the game, always use a button on the wheel.
Link is dead
But its not that hard to find the software--
I ll gIve it a try. Thanks for proving that someone has an eye on this....

Fixed the link, did you have any luck with those steps?
i tried those steps but it had no effect. I have a g29, and it's working with all games excepted wrc7
No luck-- I cant enter the game without using the Keyboard. The DPad on my Wheel works but none of the buttons or the analog axis.

I'm sorry to go slightly off-topic but, can you please tell us if there will be any improvemnt in detection for generic controllers / wheels and / or Windows HID devices?
I managed to solve the Problem! I had Project Cars 2 installed and set the wheel in game. All worked fine. Then I uninstalled PC2 and the wheel started to behave strange. Now I simply reinstalled Project Cars 2, opened it and set the controls to just keyboard. Quitted PC 2 et voila: My Wheel has been recognized by WRC 7 again and also showed up up in Dirt Rally as a Wheel again and not as Gamepad..!
OK, it worked exactly one time after setting it up like I described.... Now it seems that the same steps dont lead to anything. This really ♥♥♥♥♥ me up!
