Steering wheel not detected
I have a Trust GTX288 Taivo steering wheel, which works fine and is detected by Windows as a steering wheel. However, when I try to play WRC7, the game does not see it as a steering wheel, but as a gamepad. When I try to remap the controls and select steering wheel, the game says that the steering wheel is not detected.

I have turned off the Steam controller support for this game, I have tried to press any other button on the wheel when prompted to press start and I have switched back and forth between X input and D input on the wheel, but nothing seems to help.

I can use the wheel as a gamepad, which works decent for steering, but I cannot use the pedals, which is a bummer.

Is there any fix for this?

Thanks, mr troll, but I have a controller. I would expect a racing game to be playable with any steering wheel.

Sup dude, make sure you're in the right mode, make sure its connected to USB 3, make sure the firmware is updated. This game is a bit weird with the controllers.

Have you downloaded the Trust GTX288 drivers and done the calibration that way? It might be that windows sees it as a controller etc etc

Thanks for your reply. Windows detects it as a steering wheel and I can calibrate it from the control panel. Also, there is no software available from Trust because it is plug and play.
