This is a huge fix yet I've only seen 1 sharing in here confirming use of a Accuforce wheel. I've also seen posts on IRacing forums, youtube, etc from others using GIMX on WRC7 but hoping to get more info here in the WRC7 forums since many people are not playing this game due to being unaware about this solution to incompatibly issues.
I bought a GIMX which i have been playing with on a Accuforce and H.E pedals but have been finding that it causes some odd reactions in the game.

Change C299 to the PID you want (whether it be G27 or DFGT) and reflash. 0x1ffe to 0x546a (if I remember correctly) is the memory address range you need for file export. Exporting the entire file will cause the Fanatec flash utility to hang so you need to trim it down to only include the code you want.
Enter PS3 mode on the wheel and enjoy your modified firmware! Works with GT3 RS V2, 911 GT2 and maybe others.
Cheers!
