career mode, shakedown
Hi, irl and other rally games have a shakedown before the rally, where you can get used to the surface and ofc setup the car. And when you play this game in hardcore difficulty you have no restart so you just start every rally blindly, so is it possible to add this feature? I dont expect it to be patchd in to this game, but atleast for WRC 8...

if we support their trend (the simulative way, I mean), maybe your wishes will be fulfilled ... maybe a little less more balanced negative reviews would do ;-)

Well... why? Is it not with ''bad'' reviews they should want to improve there games?...

you're right, save for when bad reviews are a flood that makes sales drop, hence no further investments are made (working time, fixes, new projects)

it's a "pendulum": a fair amount of balanced negative reviews does not impair investments, a flood makes them tell us "you're on your own"

we had Richard Burns Rally as the only rally sim for eleven years ...

Hello Martin, the way I used to do it for 6, and this is when I actually was serious about the game in career mode. I would take whatever track I was on and run that track in quick race mode and at that time I would tune the car and had all the time to do it. I know it seems tedious but it's well worth it in the higher difficulty levels. It took a lot of energy for me though. I don't think it will be a feature mainly because irl you don't get a restart. In this game though you can get infinite restarts on amatuer level I believe. maybe that's more your style for now. Don't be ashamed. These tracks are brutal at times if your playing right.

So, consider your shakedown to be the quick race mode. For the price of this game it's alright to me. They do have wonderful developers but not really enough pay to do all the things we want them to do. Some of that is to blame on how badly wrc 5 was pirated and something crazy like 3.5 million copies in circulation but only a million paid for. Not exact numbers I know but you get the idea and unfortunately those people hurt us all.

Dont get me wrong AgentRuby, im not saying this because it's to hard. Im in Hyundai now and have 1st, 2nd and 5th(lost 1,4minute on one stage with a puncture and stuff) so far in the 3 first rally's this season on AI difficulty hardcore. But I like to test car setups and stuff, always something I have liked in sim/realistic-ish games. But without shakedown it's not really worth it. So just a small feature I would like, nothing to do with this is to difficulty or anything

I would love for this game to have a shakedown. One of my favorite things in DR's championship was to enter blind, do a quick shake down and then quickly setup the car and start.

At least, I would expect that setting up a car in quick race mode would allow saving the settings and implement them for the career mode. So indeed, no saving of setup or no shakedown is ennoying and deserves an improvment of the game. I don't want to start an excel sheet with the settings for each country or road /weather features. When you drive on gravel in walles, it is definitely not the same setup as in Catalunya or Argentina.

Hey guys, thanks for your feedback, it's interesting idea. We'll pass it on to the devs so they may consider it for future releases.
