Set up for Gravels in Wales are different from Argentina or Australia. And tarmac in Corsica is different from Germany.
Quoting one of my previous post
[ So used to differential set up in dirt rally (in which high values in differential bar are " lock" values and increases the traction, reducing the differential efficiency) , it took me a while to find out that in WRC 7, it is the reverse. the lower diff value(around 1.10) increases the traction...which is somehow more logic.
The compromise I found was to set up in many countries the front diff to 1.08 and the rear diff to 1.20 to 1.30 (for less understeer), and transmission ratio at 190. There are nearly no stages in which you can achieve sufficient max speed in 5th or 6th gear to gain time . So i prefer to increase acceleration with short gear box.
Low values in suspensions means soft suspension. The accuracy of the numbers in the panels are not necessary as it is barely noticeable a change between 35000 and 35500, or for springs between 4000 and 4500..:). What is important is the softness or stifness or your suspension
On bumpy gravels and finland , front between 28 000 and 35000, rear between 30000 and 37000
Easy gravels like australia, front 40000 to 45000, rear 42000 to 50000
snow Front 45000 , rear 50 000
Tarmac Front 55 000, rear 60 000
Springs : bumby gravels at 3500, snow at 4000, tarmac 5000 to 6000 depending on whether it is bumpy tarmac or not
Stabilising bar generally I put it rather high > 5000, I hate rolling.
Height: 0.28 at front , 0.30 to 0.35 at rear, and on tarmac 0.20 front , 0.22 rear
I am not an extreme driver and this may be not the set up good drivers are using, still among top 40 for several stages
Many thanks!!!
