WRC 7
Multiple USB devices!!
I regret buying this game.. i should of learnt my lesson last year when i purchased WRC 6. I could not get my USB pedals to work at all. Then stupid me thought i would give WRC 7 a go, and what do you know same thing.. i cant believe that in this day and age a rally developer with a offical license cannot build a game that supports more than one USB device. Even RBR supports multiple devices and its 12 years old..GET WITH THE TIMES DEVS!!!

There are multiple devices supported.
For me are working TS-PC Racer, Fanatec Elite Pedals, TH8A Shifter in sequentiell digital mode as handbrake all connected on their own USB port

Same problem here. Can't get my Driving Force GT to work together with the Fanatec CSR Elite Pedals

Not everyone has steering wheel and pedals you buy in a set!

To me it happens the same, I will ask for the refund ... nor the mapping of the buttons of the command xbox 360 gives to change ...

I had problems originally. I installed game and tried configuring separate pedals and separate analog handbrake and nothing seemed to work. I tend to hibernate my PC overnight, so I decided to try rebooting it and see if that solved the issues and thank goodness it did...definitely try this if you run into problems.
my pc is always shut down, so its a fresh boot everytime
had shifter working for a while today, now it doesn't register again. Still works in DR cos I just tested it. Not connections its this blasted game

Originally my handbrake didn't work, but I managed to make it available to the button bindings in options, by going into "options | controls | steering wheel | axis detection" and registering it as clutch. The handbrake is an analog TH8A, but it only works as digital in the game, but its better than nothing I suppose.

It worked now!
I had to connect the pedals from my wheel and then I was able to use the other pedals .... strange.

It's a f.... disaster for a game from 2017. I have the Heusinkveld pedals and a Fanatec wheelbase. it doesn't work at all with WRC 7. I even tried to edit the input file. there is a tutorial here on Steam and on the Internet. but it doesn't work. back in Richard Burns Rally from 2004 all my USB devices are working.

All we can do is keep our fingers crossed. They've been working on it for 2 years now, and it seems like they've been listening to the player base. In comparison, I think they made WRC7 in 8 months or something. I know they spat WRC5-7 out pretty quickly. WRC8 honestly looks promising if you watch some of the alpha footage, but all we can do is wait and see.

It's not a problem if you buy main stream market products. You can't always expect developers to code for custom made devices. The issue could also have to with licensing as well. WRC FIA may only permit the big manufacturers to be in the game code.

Old games would allow pretty much anything to connect and get mapped. New games, usually not so much.

Don't buy games when they launch, wait a month or two (or more) for patches to fix problems. I NEVER buy at full price, no matter how much I want the game. I'm not a little kid that says, 'gimmee gimmee gimmee'

Other games don't have these issues, though, which is why people are upset by it. WRC7 doesn't meet the industry standard in this area. Project Cars, Assetto Corsa, SLRE, numerous games by codemasters, and even the Truck Simulator series, seem to support multiple devices just fine. It's only WRC titles that seem limited in this way.

It's possible they have deals that restrict code, but it's unacceptable for a modern PC racing game: People play on PC because they want more freedom than consoles offer.

If they want WRC to be a premium title, then they're going to have to meet certain standards.

Anyway, that being said, I like the core gameplay of WRC7, and I'm not here to hate on it, but it does have some issues.
