For me are working TS-PC Racer, Fanatec Elite Pedals, TH8A Shifter in sequentiell digital mode as handbrake all connected on their own USB port
I had to connect the pedals from my wheel and then I was able to use the other pedals .... strange.
All we can do is keep our fingers crossed. They've been working on it for 2 years now, and it seems like they've been listening to the player base. In comparison, I think they made WRC7 in 8 months or something. I know they spat WRC5-7 out pretty quickly. WRC8 honestly looks promising if you watch some of the alpha footage, but all we can do is wait and see.
Old games would allow pretty much anything to connect and get mapped. New games, usually not so much.
Don't buy games when they launch, wait a month or two (or more) for patches to fix problems. I NEVER buy at full price, no matter how much I want the game. I'm not a little kid that says, 'gimmee gimmee gimmee'
Other games don't have these issues, though, which is why people are upset by it. WRC7 doesn't meet the industry standard in this area. Project Cars, Assetto Corsa, SLRE, numerous games by codemasters, and even the Truck Simulator series, seem to support multiple devices just fine. It's only WRC titles that seem limited in this way.
It's possible they have deals that restrict code, but it's unacceptable for a modern PC racing game: People play on PC because they want more freedom than consoles offer.
If they want WRC to be a premium title, then they're going to have to meet certain standards.
Anyway, that being said, I like the core gameplay of WRC7, and I'm not here to hate on it, but it does have some issues.
