Don't want to beat this dead horse and be an irritating steam user, but some people who are a part of the community I'm in said that there will be an official russian translation. So the best idea I could come up with was to directly ask here whether that's true or not. Love your work btw

I apologize but there are no plans for a russian translation. No one in our team knows russian and we are currently working on another project.
