I7-7700K CPU not available in store but needed for job?

Granny needs them megahertz. Just keep the job there, it has no deadline, you'll get it IIRC at 60 or 80% of level 17, and you can finish it then.

do you specifically need the i7? or is it i7 7700k minimum? if so, use the equivalent AMD cpu

IIRC nothing better is unlocked at that level either. Maybe some AMD stuff, but then you'd have to change the motherboard too.

That's exactly how it has to be done. The budget is enough to buy AMD + mobo.

That really is the "Solution" for this job actually. That's what folks are supposed to do.

Nah, it's good either way. It doesn't have any kind of deadline, so you can just buy the 7700k when you get to level 33, if you want to. It only gives the next job to upgrade the GPU when you have access to what she wants, so no use completing it early either.

Just upgrade her computer to an AMD Ryzen Six Core 1600X. It just needs to be that Intel CPU or better. And this specific CPU is available at the time of your level. Took me forever to figure this out but glad I did. Her grandson is a piece or work lol

Yeah. If you do jobs too fast, you'll actually have requested hardware not available.
Marking this a kuso game. Yeah, people can obviously look into the future and request hardware that does not yet exist nor sold, it happens. They just know it will be developed, marketed and called exactly like they want, and they know they need exactly the unpublished characteristics. Soon.
