Chest/Storage, make use of the shelves.

I'd like to use the shelves as a main storage space to put everything I have on hand, and pick a selection of components from there when ever I'm doing a job. Just to make the inventory more manageable, both for lower mid-range computers like mine, and so I don't need to type in a search every time I need to find a specific case fan. This will also make the game more realistic, in the sence that: you don't bring every little thing you have in stock for each little job you do. With a seperate storage compartment it will also be more natural to pre-order those components you use the most, and stock up on new things, so you don't always need to pay the extra 100 bucks for the same-day-delivery, each time someone want's to play tetris NOW.

My game experience do suffer from the loading time it takes, now and again, to open my inventory while working on a computer. I thought maybe this impliment would sort out that problem.

Or perhaps I just need to stop hoarding every little thing.

If this becomes a thing, the storage inventory would be cool as a detailed sheet of the different components with usefull data. And the capability to sort them by merit. E.g. sort cpu's by cores, speed, socket, or price. Fans by size, effect and maybe noise level.
While the on-hand inventory stays as is.

Honestly I think the reason they don't let us put other computers on display in the shop or even allow us more tables to work on is having more machines out in the game world to render slows down the game for people on lower end hardware. We've had a number of people in the forums in the past complaining they can't barely maintain 60 FPS in this game as-is. There must be some performance reason they don't give us more in this game.

I didn't mean to put anything on visual in-game display. Mentioning the shelves was more of a sugestion to as to where the go to point to bring up main storage inventory, just like the cupboard we use for cases. As for now the shelves brings up your normal inventory display. Something I've never done since I discovered the I key.

That's now exactly the 8'th time you've asked for laptops in the forums, including your very own thread you started on the topic last year. It's nothing personal to you but it is fact: The developers have already stated previously in discord they will never add laptops to the game. That's also the second time you've mentioned laptops in a thread that has nothing to do with laptops.

This is just a friendly suggestion here: It would probably be a good idea not to go off topic. The forum mods don't like that. It is a rule on steam forums to stay on topic.
