RGB Parts
I think RGB parts, especially fans, should light up the rest of the case/PC a bit corresponding to where they are and where the light would shine, It'd look so awesome! :D

In particular there are some cases with light bars specifically meant to light up the case, but they only light up the bar itself on this game. I agree.

They do have RGB parts you just dont get them until late game. Im at lvl 11 and I just unlocked RGB RAM. I have unlocked RGB Boards, RAM, Case, and GPU....still searching to see if RGB Fans are in this game.

That is not what he was asking. Currently rgb lighting only lights up the part itself, there is no actual light being produced in the case. This is particularly noticeable with the cases that have lightbars, they are intended to light up the entire case, not just a small strip of it on the bottom.

The only RGB fan that I have seen was the 120mm corsair fan.

I will say the Fans dont seem to work or atleast the ones I have but the RAM, Moba, light up just fine for me. Can even see it when the lights are off

Again not what he is asking for. The stuff lights up but it does not produce actual light in the case, it only lights up the parts that have lighting.

That shows an example, you can see everything in the case, including parts that dont have lights on them. On this game you turn the light off and the only thing you see are the parts with lights, there is no ambient light in the case.

Edit: went in game and took a screenshot for comparison.
Notice there is no way to see anything but the parts with lighting on them.

Well both of you need to explain it better or use a better definition. So what he is asking for is for them to add the Laws of reflection...Aka Light Reflection. Because the light does shine but it doesn't reflect or bounce of objects in the computer case that is.

and I would agree this does need to be added.

It doesn't even throw shadows behind other components

It still makes sense, 'should light up the REST of the case/PC' suggests that the parts are already RGB and already light up. But yeh, thats what I mean, reflection/light spread sorta thing :)

+1 that is not ambient occlusion? just asking...
VioletStorm Apr 4, 2018 @ 7:17am
+1 I so agree with this. PC RGB lighting is an art. As it stands though, the lighting is very 2D. It is at present "parts that change colors and can be seen with the lights off" than "parts that have bright LED lights on them, which case a glow onto everything inside and out of the case".

Like Raytruth said. We need ambient occlustion. Bloom would be nice a well as an option.
It's early access though, so I am sure it will look a lot better as time goes on.
